Knee Replacement Surgery
Dr Cundy performs total and partial (unicompartmental) knee replacement for patients with knee osteoarthritis and other degenerative conditions.

He assesses each patient individually to determine whether total or partial replacement is most appropriate, and discusses the full range of surgical and non-surgical options at the initial consultation.
What Patients Can Expect
Most patients undergoing knee replacement experience significant pain relief and improved function. Recovery involves physiotherapy and progressive mobilisation, with most patients returning to normal daily activities within 6–12 weeks.
When to Refer
Refer patients with knee pain and functional limitation that has not responded adequately to conservative management. Include standing weight-bearing AP, lateral, and skyline patellar X-rays. Note BMI, activity level, and any prior knee surgery.
